Generally $40 - $80. Anyone seen a spec for the Sherwood pump on the T6.354? The last time I had my pump out I didn't replace it due to time constraints but the tips looked blunted. I wonder if that's shortening the life of the impellor.

My setup is the same and also produces crazy hot water. You might try disconnecting the lines and running a garden hose through it to see how well it flows. There's a distance between my hot water heater and the engine, I'd check for a kink in the line also.

Sounds like too much to justify it. What about a generic SS heat exchanger and a separate freshwater circuit for the exhaust manifold? Would SS hold up to hot saltwater? I can get a generic electric hot water pump used in automotive heater systems. Could I just add a zinc to the manifold?

Nice job. I did a similar but simpler version with my Perkins. Purchased the SS elbows and piping online and TIG welded it up. Total cost was around $150, including the argon. If I bought the OEM for the 1977 Perkins it would have been at least $2k. I mostly followed the original pattern...

I worry more about my exhaust hose than anything else on my boat. It's a small layer that keeps my boat from sinking. I think it's also fragile because of the hot exhaust gas.
