    New boat needs throne

Installed a Master Flush Orbit toilet last fall. So far it works great and is quiet, especially compared to the old Jabsco grinder that it replaced. Choice of fresh or salt water. Low flow. New Product - Orbit 7100 Series Toilet - Dometic

    Your swim platform's utility

Thanks for reminding me that our two week long boating season is almost over. Haven't got many pics of our (recycled milk bottle) swim platform but here's a few. Very sturdy. It's about 30" deep and 2 1/8" thick and has worked out great, especially with the "granny bar" I designed and had...

Is anyone traveling the NY Canals

We were supposed to have been doing the canals this year but had to cancel the trip. From all the status emails I have been receiving from the NY Canal Authority regarding lock and section closings due to high water and current, I am sort of relieved we didn't go.

    Rocna on Mainship 40

If you want to know if a Rocna will fit your pulpit, the Rocna site has (or did when I was looking at the Rocna) templates for each size anchor that you can download and print out. Transfer the outlines from a template to some thin ply (doorskin), cut it out and try it for fit on your pulpit. I...

Welcome. 8 years ago we did somewhat the same. Sold our 40' wood powerboat and bought a 32' "plastic snot" boat.

    So...Where do you dock?...>>

Gee, we don't dock. We have to sit out alone and lonely on a mooring in a small harbor.

    Refrigerator/Freezer

Have had no problems with the freezer drawer. Mid setting is cold enough to keep items frozen solid. As Rogerh said, time to call support.

Very nice. Impressive. Lots of great ideas brought to fruition. Saving your site for future inspiration.

    Refrigerator/Freezer

Flywright and I should come to inspect it to ascertain whether it is better stocked than your previous Norcold. :nonono: Those Norcolds are more efficient when kept full of the proper liquids. :D

    Refrigerator/Freezer

On our third year with Vitrifigo two drawer unit. Wife could not be more pleased. Easy access. Good capacity for the size. Very quiet. Efficient. Two 140W solar panels are sufficient to run it 24/7 and keep the house bank topped up. And it looks nice.

    Boat Dogs

It's Howdy Doggy Time! Our boat dog in training at home. I know, I know. This is really a bit too much. But on a whim, subscribed to the Dog TV channel. Instant hit. Calms the p.m. puppy arsenic hour like a charm. Pablum for his mind, just like cartoons for a human kid. Bad daddy. But he's...

    cottage on the water

Downeast style boats. Love their lines. Of course I'm biased, not because of the boat I have which is not one, but because I've spent my life in the midst of them and have experienced their aesthetic and practical qualities.

    cottage on the water

That's how it works for us, except it's a bourbon on a mooring or on an anchor. The Admiral cooks and I clean up.

Do you have the Tank Watch 4 monitor? I fought a losing battle with it for years til I finally got smart, thanks to Codger2's recommendation, and got a Solo tank monitor. End of problems with monitoring.
