    Other versions of Camano 31?

Camano 31 and 41 We had Camano 31 hull #52 (Kittiwake) and Camano 41 hull#1 (Dame Fortune). We had both at the same time for a while so I guess we had the largest fleet of Camanos. Both of our boats were built in the Delta, BC factory. Both sizes are fabulous boats, and I wouldn’t hesitate to...

    Otters

Otters don’t like bleach Keith. I have a jar style, plastic crab bait container with a perforated, screw-on, lid, and I just put a couple of cups of bleach in it and strap the container to the dock beside the boat. You could use any kind of container like an old yogurt container with holes...

    Otters

Keith. I also have a trawler on Salt Spring Island with the same otter issue. I love to watch and photograph the otters but I’m not as fond of the clean up required. I’ve had otters in my boathouse in Surrey and also on the dock on Salt Spring, so I’ve tried various non-lethal methods to keep...

    first trawler - Europa?

We have a Camano 41, which has been a great boat. For a cruising couple it has a very efficient layout, without a lot of wasted space. It also has a large flybridge, which makes the boat feel much larger than 41'. We have been cruising the west coast in it since 2012. Before this we had the...

New to site and looking for info on Camanos

I have 2 Camanos (1 for sale) and have never had any mildew. I use a dehumidifier in the winter in Vancouver, which helps. Where do you live?

    Older and affordable trailerable trawlers?

The Camano Troll, with flybridge, or the Camano Gnome, without flybridge, are 31 ft. Trawlers that some people consider trailerable. The Troll weighs about 10,000 lb. so you need a good truck and trailer, but it is quite doable with the right set up.

    Camano Troll for sale

The Camano 31 molds have been moved to China to restart production, but I don't believe they have built one yet. I have two Camanos, a 31' and a 41'. The 31' is for sale if anyone is interested. Built in Canada in 1996, hull #51, its in perfect condition.
