    you can get what is known as a "jail broke" fire stick it is completely wide open to everything including real time live sports if thats your thing just need a decent wifi you can build a seriously good wifi antenna for just a few bucks to reach out and grab a decent signal

    take an empty peanut butter jar and screw mount the lid to the bottom of a shelf and store small wares nuts/bolts/clips/connectors/etc... in the jar, a quick twist and they are secure for the trip and easy to see when looking for them..... any small plastic jar with a screw on lid will work

    i kind of have to lean with the OP on this "rant" all things being the same except for maybe a second engine, bigger windlass, extra staterooms etc.... does an extra 20 feet and maybe 2 feet of beam warrant a difference of 300,000 dollars between a 30 foot boat and a 50 footer?

    you can use relays to activate the windlass, keeps all hi amp hi draw strictly between the batteries and windlass, low amp light wire can then be ran to the switch and switch can be left original as it is, most relays only need a few milli amps running between the relay and switch to activate

    if/when retro fitting charging ports for cell phones/etc... install/replace with good ol' standard 12v charging ports, then keep a collection of adapters so no matter what you need to plug in you have the right plug the old standard 12v port is going to be relevant for many many years to come...
