    I thought being so common to many boats that they wouldn't be so hard to find, but it's a good idea to start noticing what newer boats are using. And I think I'll take RTF's suggestion and check into having a copy made here...after seeing what the Hatteras dealer charges it may well be cost...

    Thanks for the replies. Sailor Man didn't have any and referred me to a Hatterus dealer, but theirs were too big, as was the one that Buck Algonquin makes. Apparently Buck Algonquin has only manufactured that one type, so I'm not sure where the ones I have came from. I've got a couple more...

    Does anyone know where I might find the stainless steel gate hardware for the openings in a teak hand rail? It is for a 87 Marine trader. I'm thinking the rail dimensions are probably quite similar with other model types, approx. 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"... like in this photo...Thanks

    I think I found the smell problem. The line feeding seawater to the toilet from the through hull is 3/4 IO but all the sludge that has built up in it makes it barely 3/8! The water coming up through all that sludge is what stunk so bad. I'll be changing out that line tomorrow. Thanks for the...
