    Flooring

I was thinking of trying to put down some form of sound insulation before the flooring....if I can find something thin enough to not upset the door levels that will still have some effect. There is already a layer of foam/foil on the engine room side of the floor but given the size of the engine...

Good evening all, we currently have carpet over ply in our main living area (sounds a bit wanky calling it a salon LOL) and we would like to put down some wood flooring instead...I am VERY partial to the colors of cedar, the deep reds and pale blondes, is it possible to use the same type of...

Building 72' schooner in Viet Nam

I was lucky enough to be in Vung Tau about 6 years back for work and a local took me to this ship yard just for a look. It was amazing. The thing that has stayed with me was the friendliness of the craftsmen and the AMAZING colors of the timber they were using, photos dont do the rich reds...

I was actually thinking that, the prop calculator page stated that a startlingly small amount of HP was needed to push it to hull speed....surprising to say the least...

    Most economical fridges

True that. I made my own 'Yeti' cooler from a thick but cheap stryrofoam cooler from wally world then put 3 layers of closed cell house siding foam over the whole thing. Works like a charm....no reason why the same shouldnt work for a fridge. The real trick is then to not make it look like a...

My thinking exactly, if the trans gives up (goes west, south or anywhere it shouldnt LOL) then I might change it up, for now its fine....although when I used the prop calculator on the website the other Gent suggested it did give me a totally different number than whats currently on her. But, if...
