    conduit question

    The biggest mistake most shade tree electricians make in running conduit is putting to many bends in each run. NEVER have more than a total of 360 deg. of bend per run. If you do, you won't be able to pull wire through it. The less bends the better.

    Thruster = Speed loss?

    Advice needed. I want to install a bow thruster on my 41ft, single engine. Now I'm only getting 6.5K @ 1800 and 7K max. at full speed (2000-2200). How much will a bow thruster hole reduce my already snail speed?:banghead:

    Propane locker

    Kicking around ideas on building my own propane locker. As long as it is to USCG specs I see no reason it wouldn't pass inspection. It will be used to supply my Magma grill on the aft deck. Everything else on the MV is electrical. Any thoughts/suggestions?

    OK, I give up. I can't find the problem with my OP gauges.* Both guages peg high when powered up.* With power off they read about 40; (0-80 guages).
