Well, the mast that came with the boat was made in crude ugly stainless steel tubes and it was impossible to work on when I wanted to add the horn and replace the lights. The old lights had given up the contract. All wiring needed to be renewed as well.

So I found some some odd bits and pieces of teak in my wood workshop and I made the mast looking like that. I couldn't stop myself from making it a bit "aerodynamic".
The new light is perhaps "too new looking" but I opted for a led version and this was a functional, reliable and not overly expensive one.
 
The image was taken just after the mast was installed and while I was working on the wire arrangement. They go through a hole just underneath the mast of course.
